Tesla announced that its Optimus humanoid robot is on track for initial factory deployment by mid-2026. The robot, powered by the same AI technology as Tesla's vehicles, will first be used in Tesla's own manufacturing facilities.
Elon Musk stated that Optimus could eventually become more valuable than Tesla's entire automotive business, projecting millions of units in the future.
